The reasoning behind this is that when we started the Badly Optimized Podcast, we had some ideas for how the show should be, what the format is and how often it should release (hahaha weekly remember that?!). As each episode released, the show moved further and further from the original pitch, but has turned into something that we think is much more fun to listen to! Long story short - New listeners go straight to Season 2, Season 1 isn't fully representitive of what the show has become!
